02 · Behavior Accountability

FOUR STEPS. One goal.

The ACADEMY is committed to helping learners grow in both character and responsibility. When expectations are not met, a four-step behavior tracking process will be used to provide guidance and correction.

01 · STEPRemind

A verbal reminder

A kind, clear reminder of the expectation — bringing the learner back into focus and giving them a fresh chance to succeed.

02 · STEPRemove

Temporary removal

Temporary removal from the situation or activity to de-escalate and reset — protecting the learning environment for everyone.

03 · STEPConnect

A real conversation

A conversation to address behavior and encourage understanding — meeting the learner where they are and pointing them forward.

04 · STEPConference

Partnership meeting

A meeting involving the learner, parents, and ACADEMY staff to align on next steps and reinforce shared expectations.

This process is designed to support growth, encourage accountability, and maintain a positive learning environment for all.

03 · Parent Agreement

FAMILIES + staff.
ONE team.

At our ACADEMY, we believe that education is most effective when families and staff work together in partnership. While the ACADEMY provides the primary structure and instruction for learning, parents play a vital role in reinforcing and supporting their child’s success.

By enrolling your child, you agree to the following responsibilities:

Student Preparedness

  • ✔Ensure your child arrives each day well-rested, prepared, and ready to learn.
  • ✔Ensure your child brings all required materials daily, including pace books and any assigned work.
  • ✔Provide your child with an appropriate snack as needed.
  • ✔Ensure your child is dressed in suitable school attire. Pajamas are not considered appropriate for the learning environment.

Support of Learning at Home

  • ✔Support and continue your child’s learning at home by reinforcing lessons, completing assignments, and encouraging strong study habits.

Attendance

  • ✔Recognize that attendance is vital to your child’s success. Due to the ACADEMY’s limited schedule (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings), absences can have a significant impact on learning.
  • ✔Notify the ACADEMY by email if your child will be absent.

Communication

  • ✔Maintain clear, respectful, and professional communication with ACADEMY staff.
  • ✔Communicate any questions, concerns, or issues in a timely manner.
  • ✔Refrain from informal or “hallway” discussions regarding concerns.
  • ✔Schedule meetings in advance via email with the appropriate staff member or monitor to ensure dedicated and productive conversation time.

Behavior Expectations

  • ✔Support the ACADEMY’s behavior standards and expectations.
  • ✔Understand that the ACADEMY uses a four-step behavior tracking system to promote accountability and a positive learning environment.
  • ✔Partner with staff to address and correct behavioral concerns when they arise.

We value your partnership and commitment to creating a positive, respectful, and productive educational experience for every student at our ACADEMY.

04 · Statement of Faith

WHAT WE
believe.

The ACADEMY stands on the same biblical foundation as our church. Open any belief to read its supporting references and full summary.

01The Baptism in the Holy Ghost and Fire+
Matthew 3:11 · John 14:16–17 · Acts 1:8; 2:4; 2:38–39; 19:1–7

The Baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance.

02Sanctification+
Hebrews 12:14 · I Thessalonians 5:23 · II Peter 3:18 · I Corinthians 1:30 · II Corinthians 3:18 · Philippians 3:12–14

The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation.

03Resurrection of the Just and the Return of Our Lord+
Acts 1:11 · I Thessalonians 4:16–17 · Revelation 20:6

The angels said, “This same Jesus…shall so come in like manner…” His coming is imminent. When He comes, the dead in Christ shall rise first, then those who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord. Following the tribulation, He shall return to earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and reign with His saints for a thousand years.

04Hell and Eternal Retribution+
Hebrews 9:27 · Revelation 19:20

The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire, and therefore has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The Lake of Fire is literal, and the terms “eternal” and “everlasting” carry the meaning of endless existence.

05The Scriptures+
I Thessalonians 2:13 · II Timothy 3:16 · II Peter 1:21

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, is accepted as the infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine.

06The Godhead+
I John 5:7 · John 1:14; 14:28; 16:28 · John 15:26

Our God is one but is manifested in three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—being co-equal. God the Father is the Source of the Word and the Begetter. The Holy Spirit proceeds from both the Father and the Son and is eternal.

07Man—His Fall and Redemption+
Romans 3:23 · Romans 3:10 · Ephesians 2:8

Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the work of the devil and gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God. Salvation is the gift of God, made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

08Eternal Life and New Birth+
John 3:3–5 · II Corinthians 7:10 · I John 5:12

Man’s first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that worketh repentance. The new birth is necessary to all men, and when fulfilled, it produces eternal life.

09Water Baptism+
Matthew 28:19 · Acts 8:36–39 · Romans 6:4 · Colossians 2:12

Baptism in water by immersion is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
